How to Create Momentum in Your Team?

To build teams in an MLM business, you need to have momentum by your side. Momentum is something that is difficult to describe, but when you have it, obstacles may come and go, but they never affect you. You move relentlessly towards your desired goals, and each step taken by you only takes you faster. When you create a momentum around yourself, you create a catalyst that pushes you harder towards your targets.
In an MLM business, people who create momentum are highly valued. They look invincible and seem to attract success all the time. They make the ultimate team builders. Can you create momentum for your team? How do you do that? We tell you!

Set Clear and Effective Goals
In MLM, Most people struggle with setting goals and following up on them. You should have a vision in mind and once that is clear, break the vision into smaller, easily achievable goals. Set 3-months, 6-months and 12-months goals.  Break the goals into easily doable tasks for each member of the team. The goals should be well thought out and meaningful.

You are the Leader, Take Charge!
In MLM, leaders make the most money. Can you be a leader? Well, then you will have to start taking control of the situation and create the momentum yourself. Don’t expect the company to create the momentum for you, or any team member. Creating momentum is your responsibility as the leader, so take charge!

Start Well, and Don’t Get Distracted
A good start is half the goal achieved. Start the day well, and never get distracted. There will be a plenty of things to distract you, don’t let them get anywhere close to you. Get working on the most important task of the day as early as you can, don’t waste time doing something not as important as answering e-mail or chatting with your partner. Leaders build momentum early in the morning, because the morning dictates what happens in the rest of the day.

Remember, Success attracts Success
The law of attraction states that success begets success. The more success you are able to achieve, more will come your way. Here, it is important not to get satisfied with initial success, but to keep striving and working hard, so that success leads to more success. Don’t celebrate too quickly because of an initial win, don’t give up till you got several wins under the belt. That’s how you build momentum in network marketing.

Take Massive and Quick Action
It is actually easier to go faster than to move at a slow speed – that’s the law of momentum. Take massive action in the short term, put as much effort as you can into the MLM business in a limited time. You can’t keep doing this for years, so do your best for a few months or a couple of years. This means promoting the business as fast as possible and attracting as many prospects as possible in little time. You can then enjoy the fruits of your labor for several years following that.

Train and Motivate your Team
Ultimately, it’s all about your team. Train them well, using the techniques that you’ve learned yourself. Motivate them to take massive action and to build the momentum. Help them achieve initial success – that’s all they need to do to get moving. That’s how momentum in MLM is created.
