When is the best time to go full time with your MLM business?

The moment when you can fire your boss, when finally you are no longer an employee. No more 9 to 5 job. No more alarm clock 5 days in a week. You became an entrepreneur. Now you are in control of your whole life. Sounds amazing, isn’t it?

Now, as long as we all are dreaming about that day, there is couple of things you need to think of before you make the decision to go full time with MLM business. Many well known names in network marketing industry tells that if you can’t build profitable and stable business part time, you will not be able to manage it full time. The reason why is because not too many people know what it takes to be entrepreneur. You need to be focused, disciplined and committed. Otherwise you will be wasting a lot of your time on things that don’t matter which will lead you to failure and serious problems. When you have just 2 hours a day after work then it’s easy to focus on income producing activities. Not so easy when you are full time in MLM.

First of all I truly believe you need at least 3 years to even start thinking about going full time. The reason why is because this is the time required to really understand the nature of the business and learn the skills. This is one of these things you can’t ignore in your career. The last thing you need is trouble with not knowing what to do, when there is no other stream of income coming to support you in bad days.

Secondly please keep your story as long as possible. What I mean by story is for example: “I am a doctor, but I also build network marketing business” or “I am a teacher, but I also build network marketing business” or “I am an accountant but I also build network marketing business”. These are just an examples, but they are very powerful. People can rely on them. When they hear your story they start to think: “if he/she can do it, I can do it too!”. When you do MLM full time, than there will be not too many people who can relate to it.

Last but not least please, please, please make sure the income is there. And I mean real, stabile income. Just because you have made x amount of money last month it doesn’t mean it will last forever. So be patient and make sure you will have enough money on your bank account coming in every month from your business. Again, last thing you want it to worry how to pay your bills and not being able to even buy bus ticket to get to the city centre for the presentation. Not to mention buying coffee…
